  1. Btrfs and snapshotting have been a life saver.  
  3. In the migration from openSUSE 42.1 to 15.2 I've been using the same hard drive.
  5. I've never had to start over on my main machine.  Anytime I've hosed the system by making a big error, I just reboot to an older snapshot and use the snapper rollback command once I'm in a working system.  
  7. Chris Note: think about how critical that could be with the upgrade frequency of Fedora.
