  1. In a recent episode, you, Wes, Drew and Cheese discussed your expensive ass Nextcloud implementation (#DropboxRevenge :-D)
  2.
  3. Totally unacceptable.  I cringed when I heard the price.   This is homework for you and the JB crew!
  4.
  5. *10TB* of hot (aka active) storage on Wasabi's service is $59/month.  Combine that with the $15/month droplets and it should be just about $80/month with tax!!  Overages, if any, would be much more affordable/manageable.
  6.
  7. Can Nextcloud integrate with Wasabi?!  Hell yeah!  Here's what I found to get you and the crew started.

  11. If it allows it, you can pick CDN on either coast as needed.

  15. Idea:
  16.
  17. * Use storage on droplet for temp storage and move to Wasabi instance as needed.   Figure out storage strategy and create docs for the crew.  As you fill the Wasabi storage, your monthly egress limit increases
  18.
  19. * Save your hard-earned money!
  20.
  21. For the record, I'm not affiliated with Wasabi or any other storage company for that matter.  I just had to write in because what you're paying a month for your Dropbox replacement is crazy!  Spend it on a portable AC!  :-D
  22.
  23. I hope to hear about this and its success on a future episode of Linux Unplugged real soon!
  24.
