  1. Your desktop building guide for FreeBSD is really helpful in extending the life of my old laptop. In the process of installing FreeBSD, something odd comes to mind. Is there such a tool (yet) for FreeBSD to configure wireless networking without the need to sudo/ su /login as root? I have heard PC-BSD got NetowrkManager to work but unfortunately my laptop does not support x86_64 in order to test that. Any help given will be greatly appreciated.
  3. another odd thing is that /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf does not seem to have a need to mask WPA passwords, so when I am adding a new wireless network the old one would usually be visible to whoever behind me. Is that normal?
