Texas A&M shook off a season-opening loss to UCLA by topping Nicholls and Louisiana-Lafayette. Arkansas routed Florida A&M before falling 28-7 to TCU.

 

Arkansas has yet to beat A&M since the two have been together in the Southeastern Conference, going 0-5 in those matchups. But the Razorbacks are narrow favorites entering Saturday’s neutral-site game.

 

The Johnny Manziel effect has been long-lasting for the Aggies. Manziel helped Texas A&M squash the Razorbacks 58-10 in 2012, the Aggies’ largest victory ever in the longtime series, and they haven’t lost to Arkansas in the four meetings since.
