  1. Subject: An open source space industry tracking app for Linux
  2. Message: Hello guys!
  4. Forgive me for the self-promoting, but I've created an app just for Linux that I think fellow space nerds like you would be interested in. It's called AstroNinja, and it is written in Python, using mostly PyQt5 and Scrapy spiders. It has full worldwide launch schedules, industry news, hubble images, launch tallies, SpaceX live streams, etc.
  6. The project just reached it's alpha release and I'm trying to invite like-minded individuals to check it out. And seeing how I really look up to you guys at Jupiter Broadcasting and have been listening for years, I first thought of you. Mind you, it is in alpha and only works on Ubuntu/Debian based distros, but there is an easy install script for it.
  8. You can find the preview video here to check it out:
  11. And the github repo with installation instructions are here:
  14. I super appreciate you taking the time to read this, and hope you like it, I made it for a community like ours.
  16. Thank you,
  18. Tom
